The Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Diploma Qualified Educator. As a key member, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating a high-quality educational program for children aged 0-5 years. You will play a vital role in creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment that supports the holistic development of every child.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Educational Program:

    • Design and deliver a high-quality, play-based educational program in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS).

    • Observe, document, and assess children's learning and development to inform program planning and maintain accurate records (e.g., portfolios, learning stories).

    • Create stimulating and responsive learning environments that reflect children's interests, strengths, and agency.

    • In collaboration with the Educational Leader and Early Childhood Teacher (if applicable), contribute to the continuous improvement of the service's educational philosophy and practices.

Child Health, Safety, and Wellbeing:

    • Implement and maintain high standards of hygiene and safety in accordance with service policies and relevant regulations.

    • Respond to children's individual needs, including managing dietary requirements, allergies, and medical management plans.

    • Supervise children vigilantly and engage them in positive, respectful interactions.

  • Relationships and Communication:

    • Develop and maintain warm, respectful, and responsive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

    • Communicate effectively and professionally with parents and caregivers about their child's day, development, and program activities.

    • Work collaboratively within a team, offering support and contributing to a positive and cohesive workplace culture.
